Pricing Our pricing model for most research projects is on an hourly research fee plus incurred expenses. Our billing is separated into three categories: researcher-hours, advanced expenses, and travel expenses. In the case of repositories local to our offices, the travel expenses are usually waived. Advanced expenses are the actual cost of photocopying, access to facilities, and any other funds advanced on behalf of the client to obtain access to the materials of interest. Our hourly rates start as low as $22.50 per researcher-hour. When you contact us about a research project, our analyst will discuss the costs and establish a working budget within which to work on your research project. We do not like to "surprise" our clients with large unexpected bills. For most research projects, an continuous log of the research performed and charges incurred will be made avaiable to the client at whatever frequency is desired. Many research projects begin with "What information can be found out about ..." For projects wherein the scope or magnitude of a research project is indeterminate, we will quote a fixed sum in order to develop a Research Plan and a proposal, including project budget.
